And I still can’t believe it! It feels like soooo long ago when I started this blog, even then I remembered thinking it probably won’t even last till then…I really can’t believe how far Handmade By Me, as a brand and as a business, has come since then. I went back and looked at some of the first blogposts I wrote, in one of them I said “Fabric designing and printing is something that really interests me and if I want to start making my own fabric for the cushions, I am also going to have to learn to sew them myself.” I laughed! Who would have thought then, that I would be where I am today! Then I laughed even more at the item I actually sewed ha ha!
Anyways I just want to thank everyone who follows my blog so much, I really appreciate the support and even if you are reading this for the first time, the fact that people come here and see whats going on and have a look at what I am doing means a lot to me.
And being the 1st day of year no 2, I couldn’t be prouder than to show you this article featured in the November issue of South African Garden And Home. I still can’t believe that there’s a photo of me in there, but I feel really encouraged to continue with what I am doing, who knows where I’ll be in another year’s time.
